The Story
When I look at a work of art and feel that an inner part of me detaches from the natural pull of gravity, rises upward, and is drawn toward the feeling known as spiritual elevation, I know that it is good art. Art that does not remain confined to form and matter, but ascends to higher realms—new and exalted places I have never visited or encountered before.
It is art that connects the viewer to themselves and to God that I seek to create and present.
Art that inspires the desire to create, achieve, grow, and soar high and far.
This is the kind of art I believe in and wish to bring to everyone—whether through experiencing the artworks themselves or through carefully matching them to your wishes and needs in your home or workspace.
Within every work of art lies a virtual fragment of my heart, of the very essence of my soul. Each piece is accompanied by prayers that it will fulfill its purpose and bring an atmosphere of positivity, serenity, connection, and holiness to the space in which it resides.
As a painter and multidisciplinary artist, creating and painting for as long as I can remember, I have participated in numerous art initiatives, including solo and group exhibitions, art lectures, diverse creative workshops, and community activities dedicated to introducing and promoting professional art within Israel’s Haredi (ultra-Orthodox) community.
My beloved parents raised me to be an artist and sent me to study with outstanding teachers, from whom I absorbed not only technical knowledge but also the ability and desire to create, innovate, and continually discover new places that no one had yet explored or experienced.
Among my most influential teachers are Nicole Yosefi, Sylvia Bar-Am, Penina Frank, Renana Tarmetzi, Dalia Arieli, Haim Kopchitz, Sarah Lifitz, and others. My studies at the “Oman” School of Art also contributed greatly to broadening my artistic horizons.
Alongside my studies in painting, I also pursued professional training in music. This greatly enriched my artistic world and inspired my series entitled “Musical Works of Art” which includes pieces such as Symphony, Score, Keys, Concerto, Palette Keyboard, and others.
Today, I teach painting (for more than twenty years), and I continue to paint endlessly in my studio, which I also call my private laboratory. There, matter is elevated and transformed, deconstructed and renewed, resulting in bold, textured, and unconventional artistic expressions.
Over the years, I have exhibited in numerous galleries and exhibitions, including a solo exhibition at Giffnock Shul in Glasgow, and group exhibitions at Gatehouse Gallery in Scotland, Alexander Gallery in New York, as well as several exhibitions at the Heichal Shlomo Museum, the President’s Residence, the Knesset of Israel, the Jerusalem Mayor’s Office, the State Comptroller’s Office, and many others. I have also fulfilled various roles within Israel’s artistic community.
My artworks adorn homes and offices around the world. Each painting is unique and one of a kind, rich in materiality and complex textures. My work explores Jewish themes such as Jerusalem, the Parting of the Red Sea, and other Jewish subjects. Above all, every painting contains within it prayers and hope that it will bring light and joy to the environment in which it is displayed.
